Yin & Pin
This yin & acupuncture practice will focus on the bladder & kidney meridian as they are paired organs in Chinese medicine and a part of the water element which also reflects winter!
The bladder & kidneys are responsible for the health of our bones, how fast & well we age, our will to live, our desire to obtain our goals, and funnily enough, the health of our ears!
Winter represents the most Yin time of year. It's time to rest, slow down, reduce excess stimulation, minimize stressful relationships, and ensuring our bodies stay warm.
This Yin yoga practice, will allow time to turn our attention inward, breathe to relax the body, hold poses for 3-5 minutes while relaxing all the muscles in the body, one by one. Showing our body and our mind the importance of slowing down. This will allow the kidney's time to replenish.
